To strengthen the capacity of young women and girls through social economic empowerment and uphold duty bearers on their health rights, protection and promotion of environment and provision of reproductive health services in Uganda
To establish and support programs and services that increase access to health rights among vulnerable adolescents’ girls and young women with focus on single mothers below 24 years in Uganda.
To raise awareness in the community about social problems such as poverty, ill health, social injustices, hunger, famine and diseases like cancer, malaria, HIV and AIDS among venerable adolescent.
To strengthen the capacity of youth led organizations through social economic empowerment and provision of comprehensive reproductive health services among young populations.
To influence change in policy and practices that encourage violation of women rights in the communities.
To establish a coordination and communication system that address social economic challenges affecting single mothers’ people in Uganda.
SPAN-Advocacy for Rights of Vulnerable Youth Uganda (ADRIVUYO) has established an impressive network of strategic partnerships spanning local, national, and international levels. The organization has successfully cultivated collaborations with key healthcare partners including National STD Control unit MARPI, USAID UPHs, University Research Council (URC), and Science Research Consortia (SRC), while maintaining strong ties with fellow youth-focused organizations like AFLOSORFT-Uganda, CEHUD, EDOU, FASBEC, CCAYEF, PREFA, RHU, and Straight Talk. Particularly noteworthy is ADRIVUYO's ability to engage with high-level government institutions, including the Ministry of Health (MoH), Uganda AIDS Commission (UAC), and the Ministry of Gender Labour and Social Development, alongside district-based health units throughout Uganda. These diverse partnerships reflect ADRIVUYO's growing credibility and effectiveness in addressing youth vulnerabilities through collaborative approaches that connect grassroots advocacy with national policy frameworks and international development expertise, ultimately creating a comprehensive support system for Uganda's vulnerable youth population.
