Peer youth champions oriented

ADRIVUYO in 2018 identified and re-oriented peer champions in conducting SBCC services among young people. 15 peers were selected from the 3 target districts among key target populations.

Conduct STI led outreach among marginalized women and young girls

A total of 3272 were reached with STIs prevention services during this year integrated in HTS services at community and static levels.

Facilitate peer Champions to distribute condoms among their peers

ADRIVUYO facilitated peer champions to distribution male condoms among their peer, through peer to peer approach and existing condom dispensers in hot spots settings. This was significant in prevention of transmission of STIs among young people in the 3 target districts.

Urban sanitation campaigns organized

The organization in the year 2018 organized a 1 sensitization meeting on promotion of good hygiene for disease prevention in Lugazi Municipality Gerere Village among 391 people.

Capacity Building Intervention

. Adrivuyo Uganda conducted 5 district-based trainings for single and girls living with HIV and key populations in providing comprehensive sexual reproductive health services- SRH with focus on gender-based violence for vulnerable young girls and women. The training reached 108 participants of the targeted 120 and participants were provided with data capture tools in Busia, Luwero, Hoima, Oyam and Bushenyi. The 3 days training was implemented in partnership with Ministry of health and local network partners for 3 days in each district. This training is part of strategic sustainability of project interventions and behavior change.
